The Kuretake granulating colours separate to create whimsical and dreamy effects. The degree of colour separation and blurring may vary depending on the type of paper used. Greater changes can be had by letting the colours dissolve in water and separating before applying. Use a lot of water to have a strong granulating effect. The type, amount, hardness of water will affect the effect. 

Ideal set for adding natural effects on landscape, sky, and plants paintings. Also good for lettering to have an outline marker-like effect.

The watercolour is a water-based pigment, non-toxic, hi-opaque, lightfast, xylene-free and odourless. Every watercolour block is in an individual tray and they can be removed from the palette during use.

The set includes #771 Aurora Red, #772 Aurora Pink, #773 Aurora Orange, #774 Aurora Blue, #775 Aurora Violet and one empty pan.
