AustraliaThe writing experience is great with this pen. I used it both on smooth and rough paper. I could see the writing imprinted on the rough paper once I erased it and my paper turning into waves due to the friction involved to take the ink off. My experience was improved when I used it on Kokuyo refill paper. This is my first time buying frixion pens, but the paper type you use is just a note to keep in mind.
