I use these for my daily journalling and I love them! The paper is so smooth and nice to write on. The binding is beautifully crafted and feels very authentic. I use a gel pen and sometimes if I close the book straight after I finish writing, it will bleed on to the opposite page, but that's my fault, not the paper. I'd recommend buying the protective cover if you want to keep the exterior looking clean. Personally, I like the natural wear and tear that the plain cover exposes itself to. I have collected ink blots, dirt and even blood on mine. While it looks untidy, I like the concept of collecting scars across the months that I'm journalling in this beautiful notebook.

Very pretty notebook. I use a fountain pen and regular ballpoint pen, and there is no ink bleed-through. The only thing is, the paper is on the thinner side and you can slightly see what you wrote on the other side of the page.

I love that it lays flat and that the style do the notebook is so plain but crafty with the exposed binding.

This is the second time I’ve bought this notebook! Beautifully smooth cream-coloured paper - I use this as my everything notebook because the paper feels so good to write and sketch on with colour pencils (makes colour look vibrant and smooth!), gel ink, lead pencils, ball point - everything I’ve tried so far has been great. I love that it lays flat and the style of the notebook is simple but aesthetically pleasing with the exposed binding. I’m also a big fan of their A5 yearly diaries.
