The number 3776 means the height of Fuji Mountain in meters, which shows the ambition and confidence of Platinum in this series. This pen features a cigar-shaped body with a 14k gold nib, available in Soft Fine nib, Fine nib, and Medium nib.
The Platinum #3776 fountain pens apply the advanced "Slip and Seal" cap technology that prevents the drying out of the nib. An experiment shows that the ink will not dry out after 2 years, while regular fountain pens will dry out in 3 - 6 months.
